Microlesson-Based CRLA Tutor Training for Comprehension Strategies

This course, developed in collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure alignment with learner needs and training goals, has provided tutors with CRLA Level 2 clearance by exploring four key topics that strengthen strategic questioning and student comprehension.

To design this training, I met with the subject matter expert on gauging student comprehension strategies to clarify key concepts, performance expectations, and learner outcomes. The course was built using microlessons to promote mastery, combining targeted content with focused assessments. This work reflects my instructional design approach, blending stakeholder insights, content expertise, and innovative delivery methods to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
